Flex Shaft
What shaft flex should I go with?
Im right on the border of Stiff and X-Stiff, what should I go with? Thanks.
I think it's a 2 part answer, as I recently went through the same assessment with my clubs (went with X Stiff). The first part of the answer depends on how you load the shaft, meaning do you, like me have a very fast transition at the top? or do you have a longer backswing and load the shaft more gradually? Second, what's your trajectory like? Too high, too low with your current clubs? If too high think about flighted shafts, if too low look at loft and lie adjustments. If your a serious player then I'd go with x stiff, look in to RIFLES too, very very nice shafts!
