Do you think Aguirre is "el salvador" of el tri like people say he is?

I personally think he is over rated. people claim that he rescued us in the qualifiers, but honestly if hugo, erikson, or chucho were still in charge we would have finished in the same place we are right now. If you think about it, erikson was in charge of the begining of the qualifiers, but mostly all the games were away games. and we know mexico does not perform so well outside the azteca. when Aguirre took charge he lost away to el salvador. beat honduras, T&T, and the USA by one goal each with not convincing performances and not showing better style of play. Aguirre had one good game and that was against Costa rica, they showed dominance and great skill. You could argue that he is the reason we won the gold cup, but come on, that team the US put out was horrible, and dont forget we made it to the final by beating costa rica on penalties, pure luck. what do ya'll think?

Aguirre lost vs el Salvador in his first game just with 2 days to practice....c'mon, stop bashing on him so much just cause of all this bullsh!t the press has came up with. He made the team play good again, and thats what counts. Sven won a couple games but it was a very disorganized team. Hugo lost the seleccion because of his big mouth and his"epic fail" in the pre-olympic qualifying. Aguirre has done good with the seleccion. I bet you were still jumping of joy when we qualified, so just let it go. Now the US wins, was luck? I see more and more how people expect every single win to be 7-0 to be convincing. The win over the US 2-1, was one of the most organized games Mexico has played in a LONG time. They showed character in that game and patience, when in other games before with Sven the team look sloppy and seemed they only scored by luck. The US gold cup, no one, NO ONE believed in the Mexican team. They all thought that Aguirre was just using it to "test" players. The win over Costa Rica was pretty big, because Costa Rica took its A team, and Mexico still advanced. The US has a "b" team if you want to call it like that all of a sudden, but Mexico didnt have their A team either.

He got us in the WC, and he is gonna be the coach for the WC....deal with it
